The UP Board, also known as the Uttar Pradesh Board. Up bord exam result
of High School and Intermediate Education, is one of the largest education boards in India. It is responsible for conducting the high school (10th) and intermediate (12th) examinations in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The UP Board was established in the year 1921 and operates under the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Act, 1921. It is headquartered in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh. The board's primary functions include prescribing the syllabus, conducting examinations, and providing certifications to the qualified students.
The high school (10th) examination conducted by the UP Board is known as the High School Examination, while the intermediate (12th) examination is known as the Intermediate Examination. These exams are held annually, usually in the months of February and March.
The UP Board follows the syllabus prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), which is the official governing body for secondary education in Uttar Pradesh. The board is also responsible for affiliating schools and colleges in the state.
