It is organized into various commands, including the Northern Command, Eastern Command, Southern Command, Western Command, and the Army Training Command. The Indian Army has a diverse range of specialized units, including the Parachute Regiment, the Special Forces, the Army Aviation Corps, and the Corps of Engineers.
